Watery Wednesday

I know I'm posting late, but here's my first okay 'watery' shot with the D90. I was able to figure out how to make the angel hair effect with shutter speed/aperture, but this shot seemed a lot more interesting. Enjoy more water here.

This is great! I like that you can see the individual drops of water splashing. It always pays to play around with the settings. :-)

Hi, Thanks for visiting my WW post. I see you got the D90. I'm sure you'll have fun with it. This is a great WW shot...excellent lighting and watery effect. I use the D40 and am very happy with it although I still need to learn a lot about all the different settings. Have fun!

Ooh, you use a D90. That's the answer to the question I was going to ask when I saw this awesome photo.

Yeah, this shot definitely looks better with a faster shutter as it captures the dynamics of the water interactions with light, something that couldn't happen with motion blur.
