Today's flowers

Here are some shots of Iris and some cherry blossoms and another common tree who's name I don't know. (If you know please tell me) I like to call the little seed pods on it 'spinners' because they spin around when they fall off. See more lovely flowers here.

Very beautiful macros! I love the last picture very much, with the iris seen against the sky! Thanks for your visit :)

What lovely photos of fantastic flowers.

I don´t know for sure the name of the Aquilegia but I have seen one that was like the one I have on the photo. I´s called Aquilegia viridifolia "Chocolate soldier".

Beautiful photographs - I love Iris but have never had success growing them . . .

Danielle: Those are all beautiful photos of the flowers. Those seed pods look like a Maple but I've never seen them in red.

Interesting and pretty winged seeds - I wonder if it could be a Sycamore Maple (Acer pseudoplatanus). Gorgeous cherry blossoms and iris (my iris have yet to bloom).

I love that first photo, so rare and beautiful. We don't see them here in the Philippines. You have such lovely flower shots.

All the pictures are absolutely stunningly beautiful. The winged, red seedpods from the Maple tree, the pink blossoms and the Iris with the cerulean sky as background.
So well done for TF. Have a very happy week.

Hi there Danielle,
I'm here via SWF and will be back!
Those macros- adore the iris shots, especially, but only because it's my favorite flower.

Very colourful - and I can't help you with the unknown one. We probably don't have it.
